Hisana's characterization, in general, is simply beautiful to me. She in herself is aesthetically a lovely woman, but the fact that she came from poverty and was able to bewitch a man such as Byakuya says quite a bit--that she is capable, strong, confident, and beautiful, all rolled into one. Though she says she is dependent on the man, I believe that she is actually saying that she is dependent on the way he can make her feel, and make her forget the hardships she was put through. This is a way Hisana sacrifices herself, through undermining her own personality in order to make those around her feel better about themselves. This can be both considered a flaw and a virtue, but I consider it a virtue, as Hisana spent so little time (it seems) in Seireitei and wanted to make everyone around her happy in the time she was there.
Hisana may have many flaws, but I still adore her as a strong, beautiful character. She is noble in many ways that a true noble of Kubo Tite's Bleach could not be--she self-sacrifices, she loves, and she expresses emotions and concern that are both beautiful and tragic to me. I love her in every since way, and am honored to own her fanlisting. ^^
